Allow adding server to private network from dashboard and api

Currently, we have to contact support to add a server to a private network, which is a bit tiresome if you create and destroy a lot of servers or if you manage your servers using Infrastructure as code tools, so it would be great if you can add a server to a private network from the API as well as the dashboard

    What’s the status of this?


    We’re starting a new project where we’ll need a private network, and according to the docs there “will be a self-managed private Vlan option in the future, hopefully sometime in 2024”

    Unfortunately the same docs also mention that the manual setup is not available anymore :-(

    Oh believe me it is tiresome for support as well as the current steps are a bit convoluted and involved and take a bit of time - and if you have to be really careful while doing it as any typo or syntax error in one of the many steps can break the network. We are motivated to get this automated at some point.
