Boot from rescue ISO

Feature Request

I seek the option to boot from a rescue ISO or something like gparted, so you can work on the filesystem/disk that the system boots from. I don’t need something that can install a new OS, so you could make a fixed system where these functions are the only once available.

Right now I cannot extend the my boot partition even though I can extend the underlying disk.

    Next edition of this rescue environment is access to a simple X so you can make use of the graphical tools on the rescue ISO.

    All right - that was nice and easy for us to do. This is now built and you have a big button in the rescue console to reboot into SystemRescue :) We will be announcing this in a news post shortly. Thank you for this nice suggestion Thomas!

    We believe this should be possible using our current rescue console, after some updates. We are investigating/testing this right now, and will update here (and create a docs article on this) if we are succesful :) Stay tuned!
