Multi-Server Creation Command API

Currently, the API supports creating servers individually. While this is useful for many use cases, it would be extremely beneficial to have an endpoint that allows users to create multiple servers with a single API call. This feature would streamline the server provisioning process for users who require rapid deployment of several identical or similar server instances.

Benefits:

  • Efficiency: A multi-server creation endpoint would reduce the number of API requests needed, improving the efficiency of cloud automation processes.

  • Bulk Management: Users could manage large-scale infrastructure deployments, like clusters or load-balanced environments, with a single request, simplifying the workflow.

  • Scalability: With one API call, users could scale their infrastructure rapidly, which is essential for applications that demand dynamic scaling.

    After debating this internally, we do not see a benefit here other than potentially some simplification towards users wanting to do this (of which there are not many), while making things very complicated on our side. We believe that if you are interfacing with our API, making many calls in succession in a loop or similar with exactly the parameters you want for each server, would be the way to go here as a consumer of our API.
